So I got a few Low Res 510 atty's to try out. I got them last night. I blew out the primer until nothing was coming out anymore. I tried some juice in them and it didn't taste right so I washed them in some Isopropyl alcohol and rinsed them with water and blew the moisture out. I am still getting a nasty taste on them. And for testing purposes here is what I am using and my familiarity level.

Ego w/ 510 LR atty and Delrin drip tip

I use the alcohol all the time on my regular atty's and have no problems with it.
I am using a juice I am very familiar with.

Going to try and power through it and hope it goes away... But any tips would be awesome!

When preparing a new atty, I blow out the primer first. Then I'll put a carto condom over the threaded end and fill the atty half-way full with PG. Place my thumb over the atty's open end and shake it for a minute, empty it out and blow through the cart end to remove as much liquid as possible. Add about 4-5 drops of juice then vape it.

I got my first one through today. I noticed it took ages to get the primer taste out. Also it was an extremely tight fit for my drip tip - it takes a lot of force to get it on and then I struggle to get it off again.

Also the vapour production is poor. Worse than my regular atomiser. Do they take a while to break in or something? I've been vaping it for 6 hours now. Unless performance picks up dramatically then I'm going back to regular atties.

Also, has anyone compared the battery life when using one compared to a regular atomiser? I know it's theoretically less but by how much? I get about 12 hours from my eGo with a regular atty.

if you are using 3.7 or less, you should be getting plenty of vapor. the thing i've noticed about the half doz LR's I've used, both 306 and 510, they fire up faster than the reg 510.
3.7 is plenty of power for an LR. I even prefer it a little less voltage, and depending on the Ohm 1.5 to 2, the lower, the faster is initially vapes. No more than a few drops.
I usually just put one drip and vape without inhaling the first bunch of vapes, then gradually start inhaling, testing the flavor until within a few times, the flavor will start getting better.
I wouldn't put more than 3 good drips at a time. Perhaps it's flooded.
You've been working on yours a while... suggest you check the Ohms.
