510 LR Cartomizers running out off liquid too fast

I have been using the EGO 900mah battery with Boge 510 LR cartomizers. I am feeling like they run out of juice way too fast. I just filled a brand new cartomizer and was vaping for a little while. I think I get around 15-20 normal vape hits before the taste was effected, which was less than 20 minutes in time. I looked inside the carto after the 20 minutes and the poly looked very used and dry. With my first fill of any cartomizer I use the condom method with the screw end facing up and 35 drips, and I direct drip at a 45 degree angle for refills with about 20 drips. I end up opening a new LR carto every day or two because after refilling a a few times the current one starts tasting funky quick and I notice the poly look a little burnt. Am I doing something wrong? I feel like dripping into an atomizer would not be much different.

I wish I had some advice for ya. That is exactly how I use a cartomizers, with the exact same results. I seem to go through (and waste), a lot more juice using cartomisers. I'm trying, but I just don't get it, why so many people seem to love them.

While LR atties and cartos use up liquid much faster than standard resistance gear, I'm not sure quite why yours are running out as fast as you describe. LRs produce more vapor by evaporating more liquid, so naturally they run out sooner. But less than 20 minutes? I don't know. If your cartos are soft top, you can easily pop off the cap, drip into the filler, and observe how much liquid is there. I usually do that, and add a few more drops at a time until I see a little come out of the bottom end, which I sit upright upon a paper towel or kleenex. When a little shows up at the battery end and is absorbed into the paper towel, I wait a little longer, move it a little, add one or two more drops, and wait to see if it stays in the carto, or leaks out. Either way, then I quit adding liquid, and put the cap back on.

They'll usually last me at least an hour, and more often two to three hours, after that. But then, I'm using standard resistance cartos.
