510 Mega Battery

So I just got my mega batt tonight. I purchased two of them from electronicstix.com. I fully charged both of them as soon as I got them and I have to say that I am fairly impressed so far. I have been vaping off the first one for a little over two hours now. I also got some juice from them as well so I have been vaping like a madman. If this battery goes another two hours of more before it is dead, I'll be very very happy. The old standard batteries would barly make it an hour before they were dead. If all goes well, I'll be able to make it through a whole work day with just two batteries.

Anyone else tried these and had a good experience with them?

One more thing. It could me just my imagination, but it seems like these new battries produce a little more vapor as well!

I want to get a Chuck for better battery life but wifey says no way because it looks like a drug delivery device according to her. So is the mega battery the way to go then?

The Chuck is wonderful for using at home, batts last 1-2 days GREAT vapor

I only ever got 3 hours out of my Mega, which when you consider I regularly get 4 out of my (considerably smaller) M401 collection. is pretty poor.

An m401 is smaller than a 510 mega battery yet gets 4 hours use before recharging? Those are the dragons, right?

I'm using the mega batteries too - And yes, I feel like I'm getting more vapor. But, that could just be because these batteries are fresh and my standards are getting a bit "long in the tooth". It's so liberating not having to constantly change batteries during the day!!

Actual battery life is so subjective it's not even funny. On a personal level it depends on how you vape, and how long you have to "draw" in order to get a satisfying "hit".

But the basic math is easy for our PV's.

If you have a 510 the atty should be about 2.2 Ohms. That means, if you have no battery cutoff, you can run the atty for almost exactly 5 minutes with the standard manual battery. And you can run it almost exactly 10 minutes with a "Mega" battery. Period.

Units like the 901, M702, and KR808D-1 run attys that are in the 3.1 Ohm range.

That means that a unit like the M702/M803 (Revolver) can run for almost exactly 5 minutes before they die. Period.

Has anyone seen a pic of the new mega atty and mega cart for the 510? It will be near 7 inches long. There must be a better way to make everything. Thicker and more compact. At this rate they will be 6 ft long and we will be vaping out of canes before people are satisfied.

It was my understanding that there isn't a "Mega" atty or a "Mega" cartridge.

Do you know otherwise.. and if so, can you provide a link?

It seems to long as it is... Why that long chamber? Seriously, I drilled out 3 carts and used 3 carts with a straw mod Eclypse made up and it was 7 inches long with the mega battery. So 2 cases, a longer atty, and a mega battery would be about the same. I'm sure it is going to work, but that is insane. I'd rather have a short fatty not a long toothpick. Someone has to redesign all these things.

I got a 5 pack and a 5 battery charger a month or so ago from TW during their 30% sale. I keep them on a rotation and I think they perform very well. I have an extended 120"s cig case, and I carry 1 cig assembled, 2 batts,an atomizer and a cart. Has kept me going on even the longest of days.
