510 mega battery

What about my 501 multi-charger? Will it work with mega batteries? Not clear whether the difference is length, diameter, voltage or threads.

It's only a slight PITA. I cut off part of a pen cap to work as a spacer so it can charge the standard battery fine.

PaulM, the only difference is in lenght, the megas work fine in the multi-charger or any standard charger.
You can even charge them in a standard PCC - only you can't close that PCC with a mega in it, but with a rubber band to keep the battery down, it has been done. Inconvenient, but works.
