510 only 3 to 4 good hits

Hey Guys, 1st post and new vaper here. I've been reading and trying to find some good tips, but with a full cart with blue foam I can only get 4 to 5 good hits with a fully charged battery. Tried the shredded PTB mod and no luck with that either
When I drip, I get 4 or 5 good hits too but
I thought from what I've read your suppose to get 6 to 10 cigs out of one cart(which is like 60 drags from a cart). I think my attys are good,they get hot. 3 to 4 sec slow drags. Do the 510 batteries drain that fast. Using some altliquid 16mg I got from Rob at Altsmoke. Could it be the liquid? Just ordered some halo 24mg and some e-smokeytreats 24mg too.
Even thou its been a bit of a struggle, I've been vaping for a week and tobacco free. Going from a 1 1/2 pack a day smoker for 18 yrs never trying to quit to only vaping, I must say the e-cig is a god send. I just looking for a way not to have to keep topping off my carts every 4 to 5 hits.

My first week with the 510 I felt the same as you. 4 or 5 good hits then I had to top off. In week two, this thing has really started to work. 2 drops on the atty and I'm good for 8-10 full clouds of vapour. Give it a bit of time to break in the atty. Good luck!

I haven't had any of those problems at all with my new 510 today -- I had a friend try it and he nearly choked himself trying to "hotbox" it, CLOUDS of vapor came out... that's after I have been vaping on this thing all day on the same cartridge I filled to 16 drops, was just the regular blank cartridge with the standard fill...

I had a friend try my 510 I got yesterday, off a manual battery and a cart I'd used the entire day before. She took such a big drag she choked on the vapor!!!

Whew! Since it was my "spare" one I got I let her take it home for the night with the battery charger, since I have a USB PT and another cart and atty. Do you have an "orginal" 510?

I'm pretty new at this vaping, but have been reading up on it for two weeks. I think there are 510 clones out there that don't work as well. In addition, you could just have a lemon which would be a bummer. Do you have a warranty on it?

When i first started topping off I actually think i hadnt 'drained' the cart as I thought I had - 3 or 4 drops and it seemed full, if not flooded. For me I thin I was drawing differently on the cart than i do now - I was doing shorter pulls and getting less flavor/vapor/hit w/e. Now I do quite looooong draws, slow ones (its a learning curve to be sure) and I seem to suck the cart filler almost dry - i mean its WHITE when i open up the cart! I can then drop between 7-10 drops in to fill it up - importantly now (and not then) I use a toothpick to push the filler slightly to one side, and all the way down, lets any air at the bottom out (works like the straw mod, which i couldn't get right lol)
Alternatively, you can drip a couple of drops on the atty bridge (the bit on the atty side of the cart and it sticks up like a wee mushroom head) and remove filler from cart (just use the mouthpiece only) and vape onthat. I can get a good few hits off that before re-dripping and the falvor seems more intense (but its more of a faff than using a cart imo).

3 days on my 510 and just now put the second cart on. Besides the recommended charge the first day my mega battery is still working fine. I'm waiting on delivery of Marl flavored juice. the first cart has kept me from smoking my normal 10 Marlboro Red 100's a day. Flavor isn't as good as the real thing, but I haven't had any ill effects or jitters.

I'm happy so far!

I noticed that when I first got my 510. I didn't really get the plumes of vapor anyone was talking about consistently.

But over time I got better at vaping and the carts now last longer, I'm getting plumes of vapor every time. Not sure what the deal with yours is though. Hmmmm

when you drip with a 510 thats about all youre going to get between drips as the atty wont hold that much juice at one time.

I use poly fill like what comes in the carts. I have tried everything else and I went back to poly. imo it is best for me. whatever works for you..

You should be getting more than 4 or 5 hits from a cart filled with juice though at 3.7v.

I dont use the little 510 batteries. they dont hold enough charge. Get a mod down the road that will last all day with one batty is best to do..
