Hi guys been a lurker for a while, but going to start trying out some new e-cigs and sharing my experiences.

As the title says, I'm between the 510 and the Screwdriver. I'm determined to buy on or the other tonight.

So far I've been puffing away on the 901 and it's been satisfactory, much better than analogues of course but sometimes a bit temperamental. Probably because I should treat it more kindly, but I'm always out and about so having something a little sturdier would be nice.

The shape of the SD doesn't really bother me, but from what I've read it's just an adaptation of the 901? Seems a little iffy to me so I wanted to hear what you had to say: E-cig to your mouth, which would you prefer to smoke?

Thanks a lot guys, and look forward to sharing estog stories with ya.

I went from a 901 to a Screwdriver. The biggest difference was the battery life. I could go 5-8 hours with the Screwdriver before needing to switch batts. The vapor production & temp were similar between the two when both were fully charged. The SD is a manual which meant no sticky switches and no cutoff to you get to control the amount of "hit" that you take.

I have since gone to a Janty Stick and have found my main vape!
My wife went from the 901 to the 510(manual) and she absolutely loves it.!

The Janty Stick is an 801 atomizer (although you can get a 901 adapter) I find that I really enjoy the 801 better because the atomizer is larger and the cart lasts a lot longer........

Although the 510 is well liked, I prefer the Screwdriver (SD) for several reasons. One, much longer battery life. I could get 6-8 hours on one charge with the SD whereas with the 510, 2-3 hours is all you will get. Second, I like the consistency of the throat hit and vapor with the SD. Third, a replacement battery for the SD costs $2 whereas the replacement batteries for the 510 cost $13-$20.

So I went and ahead and ordered a 510 intro kit.

Seeing as I want to get out there and try quite a few I jumped on the opportunity for the cheap 1 bat 1 atom kit. Plus the the charger is a usb charger so for a programmer, it doesn't get much more convenient than that.

The SD is extremely appealing, but for now I went with the less expensive of the two. I'll probably end up getting both seeing as I don't see myself remaining too attached to my 901.

Cheers and thanks for the advice, seeya in the rest of the forums after my 24 hours of noobdom expire.

If you find that you really like the 510 atomizer, but want longer battery life, you should look into the 'big battery' devices that offer 510 adapters. You'd then have the best of both worlds. I've personally recently switched my main device from the Screwdriver to the Prodigy. I've got nothing bad to say about the SD (to the contrary, it was my favorite for a long time), but the Prodigy offers more adapter styles (not to mention the higher voltage).
