510 passthru

I have a 510 passthru thats acting like an automatic battery.Even tho I have the button pushed it cuts off in 8-9 seconds( I timed it several times) This the second one that has done that.Just wondering if anybody else has had or even heard of this problem.

I haven't had that problem, but I don't hold in the button for any more than 5 sec. I would think more than that and the atomizer would be getting very hot, and they will burn out.
