510 Riva. Am I doing this wrong?

I am puzzled - are you using carto or atty?
If 510 carto then you have to put in 25-30 drops, with just three you will def get a burned taste.
Using a carto but I read you should juice atty so you dont burn anything when its new?
Ale, Let's get it straight - do you have one piece carto or two pieces atty?
It should be one or another but not together.

sorry i still so many diff pieces. Its a riva 510 three piece. There is a battery. Than a piece that has the silver bridge atty thing. Than a cartridge with polyfoam in it. No cartomizer thing I do that know what that is lol. Really sorry about the confusion im probley using wrong abbrevations.
Ok, then you have an atty.
I do drip and don't use cartridges for more than a year but...
What you experience could mean:
1. Primer is still in the atty, blow it out;
2. Cartridge poly isn't touching the bridge causing juice not get sucked by the bridge and those 2 drops you put in isn't enough to juice the atty;
3. Atty could have very low resistance which could be verified only by multimeter.
There are may be some other causes but that's what I have for now.

And problem solved! The poly was pushed in. To fill it I had taken poly out filled halfway with juice pushed it in to far and than topped off with juice to cover top of poly fill. Taste a lot better. Thanks so much everyone.
