I have posted pictures of some of my filler mod attempts and I have been getting some questions on my "shorty" carts.

Origin:
I heard some people had concerns with the possible hazard of the tip of the cart popping out and choking someone. So I popped it off. then I saw that the cart had another spacer in there so I cut the cart till I got to it. Then the spacer fell out. So I cut it again until I got to the bottom of where the liquid is being held and can see the two air vents. CAUTION: do not puncture the the part that holds the liquid.

Downfalls:
You need to be very careful not to over fill the carts especially now that there is no 'buffer' between the liquid and your mouth.
(that is why Im trying so hard to get a good filler that does not leak at all)

Benefits:
- seems like the hit it better
- after pushing in cart condoms in the PCC holes, I can now fit 3 carts WITH attys in my PCC. (without the attys carts still fit even solving the spring cover issue)

- I use an Sanitizer spray bottle as a single assembled 510 holder. With the short carts I can fit a whole 510 and another short cart in the 'case.'

Hope this helps.

I don't recommend anyone doing this. The 2 chambers you have removed serve a good purpose. They help cool the vapor somewhat and also serve as a trap to help keep the liquid from getting into your mouth. This shortened cart puts your mouth a lot closer to the atomizer which can get very hot at times.

To each their own, but I wouldn't do this.

VERY VERY good point! This is just an answer to what Im using. I do not by any means suggest that people do this. It works for me, atty not too hot and no leaking liquid but it is definitely not being used as directed.

thanks a2dcovert

No problem, I have escaped a mouth full of juice many times by the early warning the trap in the outer chamber gives you. Over filling is just one cause of liquid passing through the atomizer. If you top off the cart with a weak battery is another.

Still not as close as it is with a cartomizer! And a cartomizer has no air chambers at all, you're sucking right through the hole in the middle of the coil.
