New Cart Issues

So, for some reason no cart that I have tried tastes like the first cart I used with my new 510. With the other carts for whatever reason I'm getting a slightly burned taste with every puff.

I still have the first cart and at any time I can pop it back on and it tastes delightful, but if I put any other cart on I get the burnt taste.

I've thoroughly washed them all (including the lucky first cart). My atty has been blown out. I'm just not sure what could be contributing to this.

Any thoughts?

Do you allways line up the rectangle in the cart with the rectangle and the bottom of the atty? (the little white rectangle). ? 1# Lipton Tea Bags Cart Filler

I have allways done this and never had a burned cart issue

refer to this- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/atomizer-mods/29739-pink-dot-atomizer-alignment-mod.html

I have never even considered its orientation. And I'm using the filling that came in the carts, I just washed all the MLB nastyness out of it.

I've just really started to notice within the last couple hours that it seems as though I'm flooding the atty a lot, and getting a lot of e-liquid in the mouth. The two holes on either side of the cart appear to be letting ALOT of liquid through all of the sudden. Truly excessive amounts seem to be finding their way out through the holes. I'm not sure why it's this way now. Same amount of filler in this cart as the previous cart. I'm going to try some other carts tonight and see, but this definitely seems as though it could be related to the overall issue.

It took me a while to get this right. I originally lined it up with the bridge and thought this was the way. After a little while it appeared obvious that I was still melting carts. Then it came to me that when I lined it up with the bridge I was putting the flat side closer to the coil. DUH! then I got it, finally, and started aligning it properly. If you notice a notch growing on the flat side of the carts, you are not aligning properly and the coil is melting your carts.

On the matter of the bad taste being caused by the cart. I have had this happen to me several times. The only solution was to replace the cart filler material. I don't know what causes it other than the filler wool was too loose and fibers were getting into the coil.

I assume the 2 holes you are referring to are the 2 big side air chambers? This is the vapor path that brings the vapor up to the mouth piece. If you get liquid flowing through this path, either your atty is not performing at full voltage or your cart is too full. If your battery is putting out the full voltage then your atty is clogged up and needs cleaning. This is a common problem and in my case it usually because I put too much liquid in the cart.

I'd say flooding as well..............blow out the atty. The more it's flooded the harder you vape it the hotter it gets the less the vapor the more the juice in your mouth

clear as mud I hope

It's probably a combination of things. I most likely do fill my carts up too much, occasionally my atty does need to be blown out, and I do this relatively regularly. A few times a day at least.
