Hey guys, I would love to love my 510 but i just cant. You might wonder, why heck not!?!? Well, i love analogs, one of the reasons is because i can easily inhale the smoke, and when i say inhale, i dont mean just taking a puff, i mean taking in a nice bit of air after the initial puff.
I just cannot do that with the 510. The throat hit is too strong.
I want to be able to have a nice realaxing smoke with my 510, a smoke similar to an analog.

Is there any mod to do soften up the throat hit?
How well does it work?
Does it sacrifice anything else like vapor production?
and can I do this on a DSE103?

Thanks

Get one of the imitation 510 atties that are out there. Like a DSE 510 or a Bauway.

As has already been said.. you can run one of the "clone" higher resistance atties. That will usually "cool" the vape and reduce the "hit". You might also want to consider changing liquids.. or buffering yur liquid with some VG or VG-water like ECOmix. That might actually increase your base vapor production while softening things up a bit.

Just got one of the Expert 510 atties (Boge/Dekang). No washer with a very broad and slightly higher bridge. Got a 2.8Ω reading. Definitely a softer vape (using a 3.7V box mod). Do note standard Joye carts are a very tight fit (unlike the SLB/DSE).

Seems like a decent atty and may be a good choice for those who bought a Joye 510 and found it's hard hitting atty a bit too much. Also it doesn't seem to get that hot/dry/burned taste when the cart runs dry (so far). Let's see how it holds up.
