Got a 510-T kit (white manual) works great. week later ordered a 510-T kit (black manual) for the wife. The white kit came in a box with the joytech logo (also on the batteries), the black kit just had 510-T on the box. The problem is the atomizers on the white kit are like sucking water through a straw (good hit) while the black ones are like sucking a McDonalds milkshake through a straw (bad not much of a hit). Did I get LR's with the white or is the black kit a cheap copy?

Unfortunatly it does sound like you got a knock off. There's hope though! Actually a lot of options. or just get some boge lr carto's. Either way you a least still have a usable battery & can possibly fidget with the cone & atty you recieved..if you want that route. Here's a good video of adjusting & cleaning the atty's. I always push the wick in the spike with a paperclip about a 1/4 to 1/2.

One downside could be the battery may not last as long & another could be a malfunction in the battery. Just sayin' it could happen with knock off's.
If it was me I'd just order some lr boge's for both of them. They're cheap enough to at least try one or a pack & see.

I don't think warped01 is talking about the ego-T (but I could be wrong). I think he means the regular slim 510-T.
Warped, can you verify which kit you're talking about? Did you order both kits from the same supplier? Links to the actual product pages would be great.
By the way, if you do have the slim style batteries (similar in size to an actual cig), then you should only be using SR atomizers. LR is only for bigger batteries like the ego. And if you actually do have the ego then I'm just rambling and you can ignore me.
