510 Thread Issues With The Bolt

Just purchased a Bolt, and only about 50% of my carto's will thread down far enough to even make a connection! A handful will thread all the way, some will only go a few turns. I use only Boge's, and all of my carts have always fit my Lavatube. Can't figure out if it is the carto's or the connection on the Bolt? But if it were the Bolt connection, how come some work. At the same time, if it were the carto's, why do they work on my Lavatube? Also, I feel like my draw is tighter on the Bolt than the Lavatube. But not crazy tight, but wonder if it has to do with the connection too?

Contact the vendor you bought it from and ask for a replacement. I have 5 of them and don't have any issues. However, there is always one in a bunch that was made with a problem and unfortunately QC didn't catch it.

I had that problem with my Bolt. You may think that the carto or atty is screwed all the way down, but the threads have some burrs on them that prevent things from screwing down far enough to make contact. Try screwing it down a little harder, it will cut the threads and work its way down. I had to do that with a lot of my cartos and after a few months, things were all worked out. At this point if it breaks the connector, you should still be able to send it back

I would contact the vendor and send it back. I talked to a vendor on the phone one day that told me he got some Bolts that had problems with Boge cartos.

None of my carto's worked on my Bolt but a 510 to 510 adapter solved the problem.

Sweet! Good to know. Going to order an unsealed one tonight! Thanks guys, glad to know I am not the only one out there with this problem! Now, I just hope the damn connection will screw in! Lol. That would be my luck!
