My first e-cig ever, thanks to all the awesome posts around here which saved me from teh blue :p . I'm really excited, and it's taking a lot of self control to let it charge (turn green damn you) and not smoke it right out of the box. Ordered from TW, who got it to me in two days basically. Crazy fast. Anyway, looks liked all the research and reading paid off because the titan looks amazing, packaging is top notch as well. Carts smell... funny, but hopefully will taste much better than they smell. I'm still deciding what juice to get after I run out of carts. Anyway wish me luck. And I figure I should also thank spikey (despite the fact that she's not posting here anymore) for the awesome tutorial that helped me make up my mind.

Hi I.A.,

I'm envious, I also just ordered a 510 thanks to all the great reviews here but mine didn't arrive yet.
I hear what you're saying aout the charging....but it pays to stay patient...lol
Good luck to you and hopefully you will enjoy your new E-Smoke.

I started vaping about 2 months ago and I am down to less than 2 to 3 Analogs a day and those I only smoke when my E-Smoke is somehow unavailable.
I would have never thought that quitting smoking would be so much fun :D

All the best to you!
VV

I would advise you to charge that sucker the full 8 hours, like the instructions say.... use it for a short bit, then re-charge till the light turns green. I've got some pretty good battery life out of my 510 so far....

The flavor of the carts that came with mine wasn't too bad but refilled with other juices was definitely a HUGE improvement....;)

hrm. It actually turned green within an hour and a half. I couldn't quite fight the urge to try it. It's amazing. Popped in the medium cart and started puffing away. Primer taste was expected, but after that I couldn't get over how real it felt! The throat kick was surprisingly similar, minus the nasty feeling I got from smoking analogs. I kept smelling my hands and my shirt to see if it was lingering on me (my girlfriend hates analog smoke, which is why I stopped, but I miss it) and it wasn't, it was just dissipating. It's crazy really. The perfect alternative. Vapor production is excellent, I'm using the automatic batt for the moment, but I'll probably switch over eventually though. I'm seeing my fiancee later tonight, and I want to experiment with whether she can smell it/if it bothers her. But yeah, so far, absolutely incredible and way better than expectations. A side note, I'd read a few threads talking about how large the titan is compared to the other e-cigs. As it's my first one, I can't really compare. But compared to an analog, it doesn't seem THAT much bigger, especially compared to the longer ones. Anyway, thats all I got for now. I'm trying to to smoke it too much and conserve as much as I can, as I can't order liquid until I get my paycheck.

Like minna said...It's a manual...I find it best to push the button down for a full second before vaping on it( this heats up your juice)...Then continue vaping on it for a second after releasing the button ( this cools the atty down)..I don't have a problem with hot attys...It becomes second nature within a day..

I received 6 new batts and volt tested them all (they came between 3.87v and 3.95 volts I charged half of them til green and tested them the charger shuts off between 3.97 and 4.01v and the charger does not continue to charge............I'm testing my 4 one month old batts they shut off around3.3v and instantly lock out to 0v they then charge to 3.97 and the charger shuts off..................pcc or wall plug All my batts run the same time and charge the same (almost time) Take it for what it's worth but I now have 5 I just ran and 5 I followed instructions and I've yet to find any difference

This is a great start for you, I knew nothing about ECF when I started out completely green. Now your biggest hurdle will be to find even ground for your nic strength and flavor. Be sure though, to keep a stock of batteries and atomizers on hand, just to avoid the "panic" button if something happens. That's the most important stress factored out when you are trying to quit analogs. Be prepared, be successful! I was done smoking on Day-One! Was a wonderful feeling, clean, satisfying.

Happily, (Hope I got you right that time!)thanks for that, it's been a contensious bone around here for a long time about battery life. I've switched to a JS, batteries consistantly 4-4.5 hours, so not a worry anymore, but I spent a fortune on 801 batts! I'm looking for a voltmeter, any suggestions? Cheap

I ordered late Saturday so it shipped Moday- pretty fast

So far no burnt taste, came allmost completely charged.

Going to Vape- I will report back my "First Timers Impressions" later.

Thanks! I just took a drag and it's quite strong.(medium) Going to take alittle getting use to.
first impression is usually quite strong because most people are still loaded with nic from analog's...............wait a day or so before you decide if it's too strong or too weak

mouser, you're such a chit lol... I hate asking you a question :: laugh

umm love my 510.. I still say someone needs to do a video on how to use one of those volt meter/ohm meter strictly on e-cig gear lol

Set to DC volts, one lead on the center conductor, one on the threads.
