510 Refill Cart Leakage

Quick question from a newbie.

First off, this site is an awesome place for information and really helped me to get on the right track (I bought a 510 instead of the ones at the mall, and got it for half the price) So Thanks.

Anyway, I used my Titan 510 from TW for a week or so with the carts that came with them. It hit really well, and thought the taste was bland it helped me cut down from 2 packs a day to about two packs over 8 days. This level of success is amazing for me. Anyway, I bought the Marlboro Liquid from Totally Wicked (again based on advice received here) and started refilling the carts that came with the Titan. Suddenly I am noticing that I get a sticky feeling on my lips, and every once in a while I notice a slightly brown discoloration on the end of the cart after I hit it.

What am I doing wrong? And is this dangerous?

I usually fill up the cart and hit it within a few seconds, should I be waiting? Do I need to buy new filler? I know that I am not overfilling, but this has gotten me nervous that I may be swallowing toxic fluid. Please help, thanks.

Well you can do a straw mod on the cart. By cutting a edge on the bottom(the part of the straw on the bottom of the cart), and cutting it level on the top of the cart. Use a Coffee straw to do this.


I gave up on the filter filler in the carts. I pulled out the crap and just started dripping 2 drops onto the atomizer. I think of it as 2 drops = 1 Cig, and I just vape till the taste changes.



BTW you fill get used to the cart leaking out the end. Just wipe it off on your shirt, and move on lol....It happens from time to time.

How many drops are you using to top up your carts? Are you using a toothpick, tweezers, paperclip or something to kinda move the fluff around a bit so the juice can seep down some? If you overload the cart it will leak... and you can suck it out of the hole onto your lips... I do it frequently I usually have a tissue or baby wipe around close to wipe it off. If I move my filler around and drip 1-3 drops then it normally doesn't leak. When I figure out I've over-filled and it's leaking I kinda hold it so the LED part is tipped down toward the floor and I am very careful on my draw... not too hard, until some of the juice is used and the leaking stops. It's not a big problem and does happen. I don't use any mods, I'm very uncoordinated with that kinda stuff I just figure out what works the easiest and do that

As Tori said, try taking a paperclip and pulling the filler material to the side. That makes an air channel so that you can get a good fill. As you drip, you'll see the drop hit the top of the filling, then sort of disappear. Keep dripping (slowly) until the drop doesn't disappear, but leaves a little bit of liquid visible in the filling (you'll know it when you see it). If you get a 'bubble' of liquid, you've put in too much - either blot with a tissue, or suck it back up with your dropper.

Thanks guys/gals, I think you may be correct. I wasn't moving the filler around at all and it was kind of matted down. I moved the stuff around and it seemed to seep in much better. The draw is also nicer.
I was just nervous that I might swallow some. I don't know if that is toxic when swallowed in very small amounts.

DaMulta....Great!!.....That is the only way to use a 510...Drip that sucker!! Sealed batteries protect themselves from liquid entering and shorting the battery itself...and the throat hit will knock your socks off!...Throw that filler in the trash..or make a Q-tip out of them.The Wiz!

Sorry Dodniboy....But I like to refer to myself as a Practitioner of Empty Promises instead of a liar and fraud...LOL(don't drink the e-liquid ok?)The Wiz!
