So this has been bugging me for a while.

I have a silver bullet and I bought a 510 to 510 adapter so I can use a drip shield so I dont get extra juice all over.

The last two atomizers i used (and all in fact) doesnt quite fit as it is too tight on the 510 adapter. The Adapter fits sung on the battery. For the atomizer however this causes the center pin on the bottom of the atomizer to get pressed inside. Using a LR atomizer it seems to melt or push (due to the non fitting adapter) in the atomizer pin to the point where even if I pop it out it gets pushed in very easily causing one to literally become useless and short out every time I tried to fire it.

I put on a new atomizer and only twisted it on until it felt slightly sung (about 20% of threads showing) which shows the two air holes. This causes ALOT of air to go though (like sucking through a straw) and makes a loud gurgle on the first hit. Before it was a tighter draw like sucking though a coffee straw and it made a more muffled gurgle.

Is this normal?

You may just need a different adaptor, I've noticed that some have a longer center post, as for the gurgle that's the juice that drained into the dripsheild being drawn back into the Atty, it happens sometimes to me too.

The gurgle doesn't bother me as it happens when I twisted the atty all the way on the adaptor. Just since I only twisted the atty this time at 80% the extra air flow magnifies the sound 10 fold. Does any know any good places to buy a 510 to 510 atty with not so long of a center post?

Well I got some of these.

The center pin basically floats and adjusts for length.

Quite similar to some of these that I also had in the past.

Try playing with it and see if you can adjust/shorten the pin.

In my case I had to lengthen it.
