510 to 510

I have a VAMO (and an SVD soon) and a Protank2. The wobble bugs me and of course the reports of stripped threads. But I don't see how the 510 to 510 adapter will help with wobble since it will extend the length between unit and tank. Same for 510 to eGo. Seems it would be more stable if I use the eGo beauty ring that came with the PT on the 510 to eGo adapter it would become much more solid. Will it fit? Am I missing something? Would using the ring make it too far for contact?

Like the question and anxious to hear the answer. I have the MVP 2 and it has a beauty ring which allows the ProTank 2 to screw on and any eGo clearomizers as well.

The beauty ring would likely work. Given the lack of manufacturer's quality control for the contacts on any tank or carto, also the connectors on most any mod without a floating pin, the contact may work on some and not quite reach on others.

Well, I got the 510 to eGo adapter and indeed it does make it more stable. I can also use the PT2 beauty ring at the same time but it has no added stability, though it does look more funny without the ring.

I have not tried the adapter on the SVD because it is quite stable with the PT2.
