I know there is a Vamo forum, but I can't post there yet so here I am. I was wondering about the ego cone threading inside the Vamo drip well. Would I be able to use an ego to 510 adapter on it, to save the 510 threads on the Vamo itself? I've already had to do the #60 O-ring fix on one of my Vamo's, and I think the 510 threads are stripping out on it. I'd like to protect it before it's completely screwed. Thanks everyone!

I don't think there is an ego-510, that wouldn't make much sense since every device with ego threading has 510 also. There is a 510-ego, which you would screw into your 510 connector so you can use ego threaded tanks/clearos on a 510 only battery. But then you'd still be using your 510 connector anyway, so it would pretty much be a waste of money. Unless you think the post on the bottom of some ego tanks or whatever is somehow messing with the 510 connection...with the adaptor it would raise up the ego threading so you wouldnt really be touching the 510 threads with the actual tank, the only thing that would be touching would be the adapter.

Ya, I have one of those adapters for using my Kanger T2's, since I only have 510 batteries. I thought about leaving it premenantly screwed in, but then it would totally look like crap on the top of my Vamo. I though also about getting a 510-510 shorty adapter, which would at least look better than the 510-ego one, but I'd really love to just have a way to utilize those outside threads.

does the vamo even have ego threading? never used one and i havent done much reading about them. i would just leave it on, probably do less damage since you wouldn't be screwing/unscrewing on the actual vamo itself, so you wouldn't be messing the threads up. same thing with a 510-510, at least you could put one on and not have to unscrew it, or at least not have to unscrew it as much as not having any adapter on it.
