510 USB PT quits then comes back then quits again

I have a 510 USB pass through that I got from Heaven Gifts and it worked great for about 1 week before it just stopped today. I took the battery out, looked at everything, blew out the 510 coupler end and it worked again for a couple of hours. Now it quit again. I have tried 3 different attys so I know it is the PT.

Anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong?

I have some problems with my switch which has gotten kind of quirky, Also check tro make sure your wire is secure coming out of the hand unit. Have you tried a fresh battery? I rotate a few I have, strange. Good luck

I got it to come back for a brief moment. I think the wire going into the hand unit is the issue. I can move it in and out of the tube and it then wiggles the switch. Is there anyway to take these things apart to see if a wire is loose? Doesn't look like it.
I can't get it working again. I did email Heaven Gifts and they said they will replace it under their 6 month guarantee policy but I need to send it back to China.

I just wanted to update this thread with my findings. The PT seems to work fine now since I switched from my computer USB port and my monitor USB port to finally now using an AC USB adapter. I don't think the rechargeable battery was getting enough juice and it was simply dead. There is no LED on the unit but now with the AC plug I can see when it turns from RED (charging) to GREEN. Now it seems to work just fine and hope it keeps on working.

Some devices give less MAH power to the USB ports. I used to run the batt dry, then it would charge and work again. I hit the thing like a pacifier though, good thing I got a CHUCK [and low octane/nic eLiquid] and the batt lasts about 2 days (and it's mobile with no USB required... hint, hint).

Ohhhh,,,, believe me I am looking at the Mods. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet, so many choices with new models coming out almost every week.

I have purchased 3 USB pass-throughs and each one has gone kaput. One lasted a few weeks to a month and a half while another lasted only a few weeks and then another didn't make it a month. BTW, I did have it plugged into the recommended wall USB plug. The batteries are fine as they work well in the Janty Stick without any problems; however, they don't work at all for the 510/Janty Dura-C model or even the 901 with the 510 to 901 adapter.

It was my hope that the USB PT was going to be the answer to my problem of having to change batteries so often while at the computer, which is much of the time but it doesn't seem to be the case & that ticks me off royally.

I can't find a USB passthrough that works wtih the 510/Janty Dura-C/Janty Dura/yeti to save me. I don't know what went wrong but this is getting ridiculous. The only e-cig I have that's working with any degree of normalcy is the Janty Stick.

What's so bad is that the attys for the 510 and the attys for the 901 are all in working order. They work when used with the batteries the attys screw into but not the USB passthrough units. Can nobody make a working USB pssthrough that works more than a few days to a month to a month and a half without going dead with no reprieve!

I just ordered the 510 5v passthrough. Hopefully it is better than the one I originally got with the inline battery which lasted about 2 weeks.

I was having the same issue with my USB PT...worked for a few hours then went kaput, then back on again, and so forth. On some other thread here I found others saying that a wall mount USB charger did the trick, and being that the link provided led to a site offering a double input unit for about $4 I thought it was worth the effort.
It arrived yesterday and I haven't had one problem since plugging my PT into it for the past day and a half. Well worth a try if you have a pt that's giving you fits.
