I'm sorry but, for me getting a disappointing vape every couple hours and realizing I needed to change the battery again got maddening for me. The eGo was the best investment I ever made. Besides, given the hatred with which people regard smoking and smokers, I think not looking like you're using a cigarette is a plus.

I started with a regular 510 and 2 batteries, I killed both batteries in 2 months due to the constant recharging. If you like the size of the 510 batts then get a good pass-through to use at home cuz you'll spend more money keeping 510 batts around than you would to buy a bigger battery mod.

Yes, I did get a pass-through! And I got the 510 because everyone was saying what a good starter it was. If I find it too annoying, I can always get an ego batt and it should be compatible with my 510 atty!!

Since you only smoked around 10 cigarettes per day, I'm thinking you might be fine with whatever you get.

I smoked around 3-10 cigarettes per day, on average, and I never needed more than 2 standard 510 batteries for a day.
And sometimes, I would even get through an entire day with only one standard 510 battery.

Still, if you don't mind something the size of a small cigar, then the Ego/Riva/Tornado/Inferno batteries are ALWAYS a better choice.
