510 vs eGo? Do I have this right?

Time for the noob QOTW (Question of the Week)
I've been using a 510 for a little over a month now, and it's all good. Experimented a bit with carts, and moved to cartos due to the longer vape to re-fill ratio. I drip with an atty while parked on the couch, and have a small arsenal of various juices to keep life interesting.

I don't feel too hindered by the shorter batt life of the 510, thanks mainly to a nice PCC (and dripping while at home) HOWEVER, I feel like I kinda missed the boat with the rave reviews of the eGo or Riva units.

Do I understand it correctly that the only difference is the battery life? Or, is there a voltage difference that makes the eGO better? Could I buy an eGo battery and charger and use all my 510 carts/cartos/attys/drip tips with it? If so, what would I be gaining?

Thanks in advance to all that have asked the noob QOTW previously, I may not have posted to your thread, but I've read them all (and learned quite a bit along the way)

Peace-Terry

I have both the 510 and the eGo. I use the 510 batteries when the eGo is charging. All of the accessories carts/cartos/attys/drip tips are interchangeable. I don't know about voltage, but for me the 510 is a Volkswagon and the eGo is a Lincoln Town Car.

Agree with the value of the cone. At first, I didn't understand the purpose and it sat on my desk unused. Just another part to deal with. Last couple of weeks, I'm not happy without it. I love that I can screw it down a little or a lot and control the amount of air coming through the carto. Adds more volume to the vapor, more density and more flavor. Added bonus is that it also contains any extra fluid. Nothing worse than driving down the road with juice on your fingers. Though it doesn't happen often, it's a plus that it's no longer a issue.

The eGo is technically *just* a bigger battery....longer lasting. But because it lasts longer, it gives more great hits before it starts losing power. That's the advantage. The reg. 510 batts start losing power and the hit is not as good for as long. That's been my experience with both, at least. You can just buy an eGo battery and a charger...you wouldn't have to get a kit.

the one difference Iv'e read..the chargers are not compatable..the eGo charger will ruin your 510 batteries
