Hi there!

I'm looking to make a wholesale order so I can start selling e-cigs to noobs.

I was originally going to order a bunch of d-1 kits, but the supplier has a nice 510 selection. So, good folks of the 510 board - tell me the pros/cons of the 510 vs. the KR808d-1, if you don't mind. :)

(Please provide reasons for your statements - just saying "cause the 510 is just BETTER!" does not count as an educated response. lol)

I use both. I've been vaping since Aug 2010 and have used both extensively. As a new vaper I much prefer my KR8. When I first started I had both. I had the KR8 with Cartos and the 510 with Carts/Attys. The KR8 was my grab and go vape. I didnt have to think about it. I didnt have to deal with messy carts. I didnt have to deal with cleaning attys. I could choose any flavor carto I wanted without having to worry about using a new atty or cleaning an old one. I could change flavors on the fly. Now with that said, the 510 with Cartomizer would vape just as comfortably and easily. BUT...and here it comes.....with both systems being equal up to this point the deal breaker is battery life. 2 KR8 reg sized batts will last me all day. Where with my 510 reg batts, I constantly charge and switch every few hours. If I had to choose a system for a brand new newbie....After using both on a regular basis, I would go with the KR8 all the way hands down.

Thank you for hearing my opinion. And alas, thats just what it is, everybody has one.:)

Great opinion! I love that you have used both extensively - information like that is invaluable! I put my order in yesterday, and went with the 510s - mainly because the white d-1s were out of stock :-/ And from what I've learned, most noobs seem to prefer the white since it "looks" like an analog. I only ordered 3+1 kits though (the +1 is already sold), so I have a small test market to see what folks think (and I'll try one).

Thank you SOOOOOOO much! Battery life does seem to be the great divider with these two models - others have agreed with you. :)

When I first started out "looks" was very important to me. I had a nice little "mini" white bat and liked the "cherry" LED, so as to mimic a real cig. After I vaped it for a while, battery life between charges became an issue. So I moved up to a joye 510. The draw was very smooth and the liquids I used tasted much better. Not to mention, LOTS of vapor! The little 510 is a great set up to learn on and its easy to carry around. You have the choice as to use carts/attys OR cartomizers. Also you can find replacement parts just about anywhere. As far as battery life...I always had 3 bats on hand at all times, on set up to vape and the other two charged and ready. I hardly ever used the pcc, I found the AC wall charger and the AC adapter/usb charge set up more convenient. I was very pleased with my 510 and felt as though I had graduated to being a "real" vaper. LOL

A plus to starting out with the 510 is that you can experiment with different attys and such and gain a good basic knowledge on how ecigs work. That will last you your whole vaping career.

Good luck with yer plans!
