Thanks all! Lots of awesome info!!! :) I am not going to be selling online at all - I am only doing a tiny startup to sell to friends/acquaintances, and POSSIBLY do our local flea market now and then. It's more of a "retail" market, so these would fit in just fine. With it being an outdoor/indoor market, setting up outside should attract the smokers. :)

Admittedly, I ended up ordering the 510 kits since my supplier is out of white d-1 kits (and the noobs mostly want white since that's the closest to an "analog"). I only ordered 4 kits though (one is already sold), so if the 510s don't quite do it for folks, I'm not sitting on a ton of kits. :) This is my "feeler" order.

I've sent at least 10 people off to the net to order kits, and I know of at least 5 that definitely ordered, and of those 5, I know at least 4 are now quit from analog hell. :) I know if I had the kits in my truck, I would have sold them then and there.

My opinion.
I like both models.
The 808 batteries seem more durable and also run a 1/2v hotter as well (3.7v vs 3.2v, under load).
I also like the 510 carto's but must say the Bloogs in 808 are equally as good.

It comes down to the carto's you sell.
Sell a good supply of flavors and nic levels..."PREFILLED". If you want return business the catro's are the trick, and can profit you well.
Don't inflict new users with the headaches of filling. I've been at this almost a year, and I do fill and HATE IT. I like the end product but hate the process. So will most of your new customers, and the longer you keep them on prefilled and satisfied, the more money to go into your pocket.

Tried both I'd lean towards a 510 the 808 was a little to "airy" for me.The 808 battery does run a little hotter though which is good imo.I would just think that with the popularity of the 510 it would be a better investment in the long run.Been vaping for about a year and a half now using a 510.Started with a blu then 901 then 4081then 808 then 510.Just think carts and batts are more durable and acessible.Thats my 2 cents

KR808. Started with this. I now have Riva's,510's and Ego's in my collection but I always have an KR808 in my car and in my purse. I started with an Auto but soon jumped to the manual battery. It's just as easy to vape a manual as to vape and auto. There is so much more flavor and vapor in a manual battery.

???? Wow I could have sworn I posted to this same questionair elsewhere...

I would def go for the KR8 (bat/carto) as apposed the 510 (bat/atty/cart) system. Then again if you were going for the 510 (bat/carto) same dif. BUT...KR8 reg bats are 280 mah as opposed to 510 reg bats (180) and will last much longer between charges.

In the spirit of this thread for NEWBIES, my vote (from someone who has used both exstensively) is for the KR8 hands down.

Yeah it's like a reverse of a double post.
I saw it as well.
And agree on the 808. Not because I'm here and own one....I own and run both. Recently I've been using a dual coil 510 carto on a stock battery (very hard on the battery). I wish I could adapt it onto a 808 battery @ 250mah.

That said, the 808's have better/stronger battery options . The batteries also have a better life.
Options include 150, 250 and even a 350mah. All in a cig thickness. (the 350mah is quite long, however)
Given that 808's run at a loaded voltage of 3.7v compared to a 510, at 3.2v I vote the 808 after all is considered.

Heck far...I started on a Revolver Elite (mimic of an nice white analog with a filter)..but soon after saw that the carts required alot more maint and went for the next size up model....

So be it..

Glad to see I'm not the only one up at this hour....I'm retired and can stay up all night if I want....LOL

I posted the same thing in the 808 board and the 510 board so that if there were biased answers (as could be expected from folks who frequent a board for a specific model), I could weed out the answers that weren't valuable. ;) I apologize if it's against the rules! I was just trying to do fair market research. :)

Well, if turkeys can be made into bacon, I suppose an aardvark could...but it just wouldn't be right....turkey or aardvark.

I stand corrected in the mah.
It seems yesterday I learned that the mah in the 808's are much higher than the 510. Add into it that the under load voltage is a 1/2v higher as well, the 808D-1 batteries win. the 808 seems to run ~40+ mah higher as a standard on the smaller battery., but they differ from mfgr to mfgr. Same with the 510's.

I did do a big 510 order today, however.
