I'm sure everyone remembers a time when AltSmoke actually carried 'The Yeti', this was several months ago. Since that time period I felt that the Electronic Cigarette had too many defects to really sell to users. It seemed that every unit I sold had at least one atomizer go bad in the kit. On top of the leaky cartridges and the switch that seemed to get stuck after a few days of use, it just wasn't built sturdy enough.
When I first introduced 'The Yeti', I did a presale on the model. I can tell you straight up that I was literally refreshing that tracking # non stop, hoping it would arrive out of customs unscathed. That was my first and last presale that I have done. Although, I will start presaling items from this point forward only AFTER they have left customs.
Why? I For one do not feel comfortable presaling any items that could potentially be locked/returned/destroyed if stopped in customs. I know quite a few smaller suppliers who use this tactic to get funds from their consumers to 'start' their business. I for one do not enjoy gambling with my customers money and do not engage in such tactics. What if that shipment never sees the light of day and said suppliers don't have the resources to refund the money...well that would create a mess.
I will be presaling said items when they have cleared customs and not before. So hopefully that will put people's minds to rest when they choose us for their presale items. With that said, we will be presaling 'Yeti' Passthroughs, Kits, Cartridges, and Accessories once they have cleared customs.
