Had to go look at notes...
Very good combined about 60/40 with a honey juice. At first I used VS Honey, later mixed with DIY juice: 15% TPA Honey in 70/30 base. Tasty honey-nut tobacco result.
Added about 25% to 75% Boba's bounty to increase tobacco flavor and add some nuttiness. (think I was getting tired of straight Boba's at this point) Should go well with Bounty Hunter too, would expect a vanilla-nut tobacco flavor.
Frisco is available, or at least it is now. However, you are definitely right about waiting for a juice that long! I don't like to wait for juices, but I will wait for my next PV as long as I need to.
Okay, back to 555...
I think I may try Frisco now, based on Dream's words. I do like Vapor Stations other tobaccos...so, why not?

I think what we need is a really really big thread o' 555.. (billherbst style) so we can better gauge each other's flavor profiles.
What is 555 to me? I would hesitate to say "tobacco and nuttiness"... I think it may have to do with the general flavor fingerprint of the original Chinese approximation of State Express.. But this approximation tastes nothing like State Express to me.. so I'm pretty perplexed myself.

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing.
From the VS website: "15ml and 30ml sizes may have a batch error; potentially missing an ingredient. We are discounting these bottles until this current batch is out of stock. The flavor is still really nice, just not the same. Our next batch is expected toward the end of this month. 10ml and 20ml bottles are fine."
This off-batch isn't bad at all, but I wouldn't recommend it to you unless you were already a Frisco fan who was jonesing. I think you'll want to wait for the original.. It's sooo much better than the off-batch even if it's missing only one ingredient. It's a Gestalt thang.

Ya 555 is like ry4 it really has a wide variety of types. It isn't something I vape all the time but sometimes it really hits the spot.

You can get the correct, full ingredient version in the sampler pack; and, if desired, more than one bottle of the same liquid can be ordered. I ordered the sampler pack and received 3 bottles of Tampa, equaling 15mL. Eric told me he didn't mind multiple orders of same the flavor. The 10 and 20mL bottles are out of stock, therefore, the sampler is one route.

Just tried mixing Frisco with VS Honey.. it's surprisingly good. I'll try it with BH later. Thanks for the tip.
Dream-- glad you liked the combo. Let us know how the BH and honey turns out, and the mixing ratio.
I like the honey mix better. It's more distinctive and interesting to me.
6:1 to 4:1 (16.7~20.0% VS Honey) & 7:1 to 8:1 (12.5~14.3% Bounty Hunter).
Keep in mind that I don't DIY (rather, DIM) so YMMV. I'm still playing around with VS Honey. I just happen to have a 120ml bottle that I bought on sale for $25 for this very purpose. So I'm glad.
Has anybody else been tempted to smoke a State Express just to better remember what the heck the REAL "555" tastes like? I resisted my temptation and won't bother with it. But it's been years since i smoked one. Anyway I was primarily a Marlboro Lights smoker.

thats good to know. i never knew where the name 555 came from. i knew that RY4 was Ruyan 4 but i had never heard of a 555 State Express cigarette before. this would also explain why TW has a DIY flavor concentrate named State Express 555. which, btw, is very good

I have tried dozens of 555-juices and none tastes like a State Express ("555") cigarette....
If by "555 like" you mean Dekang (or other Chinese)555, then ok. Juices attempting to duplicate either a Chinese 555 juice or a State Express analog do not impress me. I'd still group BWB 555 Exotic in your "555 like" category. It's not bad though, IMO.

Oh, as it turns out, I did order Frisco. I had so many of these little sample white boxes that I completely over looked it.
I smoke approximately a pack/week nowadays (down from 2 PAD before vaping). Camel lights for over 20 years. Since vaping, i started buying 555's and Dunhills. I find that i'm much more discerning regarding the taste of cigarettes. All that being said, 555's taste nothing like the nuttiness you find in any 555 juice.
So what is everyone waiting for. I think we need to get a Sticky 555 review thread goin....
