Just made a dual-mode 5V box that works on batteries or with usb passthrough. Will post details in the modders forum as soon as I get my posts high enough to be able to start a new thread there.
BTW, LOVE the forums here. Best source of info on eCigs I've been able to find (and I spent a LOT of time looking). Love the modders forums in particular because I'm a dork that can't be happy just vaping. I have to build them too.
