5V Newbie Mod Question..

Hey guys,

Ive been around for awhile and vaping at 3.7V for over 1.5 years now, but have just ventured into HV vaping and had a few questions.

I picked up an awesome 510 5V boxmod that I love!!! It uses Two 14500 900mah 3.7V batteries.

They are the blue batts made by trustfire and say "With PCB"

What exactly is a PCB? Protected Circuit Board? Does this mean that these are those protected batteries, and I have no worries of the rare issues that have been reported?

Forgive my ignorance, but I never really followed all the battery issues, so I dont even know if there were any with the 14500's. Any input on what Im workin with here would be great, cause I absolutelly love the 5V experience!

yes, they are protected batteries. you are pretty much as safe as you can be with batteries (at this point). enjoy that 5v!!

Yes they are protected batteries. They cut off at a voltage that is dangerous before exploding. % volts is the best for e-cigs, I think. Have a good one.
