so a 3.7v with a 1.7 carto yields similar results as a 5v and a 3.0 carto...
I think I'll go 3.7 with the 1.7 resurrectors as thats the most affordable route for me right now if I want a tube mod.
Any 5v tube mods that are fairly priced? Say under 50 bucks?
3.7 volts with a LR carto may seem by the watts chart or ohms calculator to give you a similar experience as a higher voltage and a 3.0 ohm atty But it doesn't. With say a 5 volt battery and a 3.0 ohm you do get more vapor production, a warmer vape and it makes your nicotine stronger. LR carto's are the way to "cheat" to get those things and it does work to some extent but not near as well as having the real higher voltage and matching ohm atty.
Box mods you can get cheap with batteries, under 50 bucks
5v Box Mod and here:
5 volt center red button box mod (batteries for these cost 4.50 each at madvapes, uses two) but tube types get harder to find.
For 63 bucks you can get a LavaTube VV and the batteries cost 10 bucks more each.
For 8 bucks (and a few other parts)( 5 dollars shipping) you can get a VV mod kit from Mad Vapes
Variable Voltage Regulator Board Kit Rev 2
They even sell a meter you can build into it so you can check your voltage. Extra parts you need, some type of plastic tube to mount everything in batteries, a 510 connector, and perhaps a nice button and extra wire but still you can get all for under 20 bucks.. Must know how to solder. or buy this and contract your mad scientist friends to put it together for 20 bucks or a case of beer.
If I could solder I'd do this cus i'd love a dirt cheap tube mod. I wonder why no one has made VV tube mods out of these to sell?
They sell a box mod type VV already made from Mad Vapes for 43 bucks.
