Hi Guys
I bought a 5volt box mod from madvapes a little while (2 batteries) and tonight I had the batteries in the charger and had only (1) 3.7 to play with, now this is how I found out to take it from 5v to 3.7v just with batteries alone.
I put the 3.7v battery in the mod and ofcourse it wouldn't work without another battery in there with it, so I threw in a std AA (1.2v) battery just for kicks to see whether it would fire up, low and behold it fired up brilliant at 3.7volts, So now I have 2 modes I can run it in 5v and 3.7v just by altering the batteries around...
Just thought it might be helpful to those with the same 5v box mod (non VV) model.
cheers Rebel54
EDIT: It was 3.30am down here in AUS land and I apologise to all concerned (who were trying to warn me) The "STD AA 1.2v" battery that I mentioned in this post was actually a PRB (Protected Rechargeable Battery) of a lower voltage of 1.2v - BUT these guys weren't to know that at the time and justifiably they were concerned for my welfare - Thanks to all that did fire up over this issue...
