BOX MOD - 2 14500 or 3 aa Nimh?

I'm looking to get a box mod.

i can have it made with 2 14500 lithium battery wired in parallel
= 3.7v - 1800mah

or 3 battery of regular rechargeable niMH aa battery (1.2v x3) - 2700mah

What are the pros and cons of the above aside from the size of the box? i rarely see people using regular niMH for vaping .

The 3 niMH's will not last long before needing a charge.

Go with Lithium..

Why is that? since their capacity is 2700mah compared to 900mah on the lithium.
