So, I rebuilt one of my 8ml vivi nova heads. It was great, and far, far easier than I expected.... but posts, instead of a crappy grommet would be real nice to work with.

But.... while the quality isn't the best, I really do like the gigantic vivi nova tank. I also really like the terribly cheap Dual coil carto I picked up at fasttech, and can see why a lot of people like tanks more than clearos.

But I have no idea if I'd like a large tank RBA or carto more than the other, and for the life of me I cannot seem to find any really large tank.... preferably, I'd like the full tank to last just about as long as the wicks last before needing a change.

If anyone has any ideas on these, or at least the largest possible RBA/cartotanks in existence, I'd love a link. I want to tinker more with rebuilding, but I'm far less interested in doing it with my vivi novas when I see how easy it would be on a device made to be rebuilt.

I had some trouble following your lines of thought, they were all over the place.

You are using an 8 ml capacity Vivi Nova? I've never heard or seen such a thing. Must be a homemade device?

I'm not aware of any large capacity RBA tanks available. All that I have seen readily available are 3 ml or less capacity.
______

There are several options for large capacity cartotanks:

IBTanked has an 8 ml tank. Caps and pyrex tube sold separately onsite, or together as a kit. https://www.ibtanked.com/complete-tanks/stainless-steel-setup/25mm-xl-tank-240-detail

Valley View Vapes has a couple of 7 & 8 ml tanks. Premium Tanks

Vaporescence has a BFT (Big .......* Tank) that has a 8.5 ml capacity, but uses a polycarbonate plastic tube (not safe for all juices). 8.5 BFT : 8.5ml BFT Liquinator | Vaporescence

$5.44 VIVI NOVA Detachable Electronic Cigarette Atomizer (8.0mL) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Is absolutely a think; but the quality isn't great.

Some of those tanks are quite the neat big ol' tanks, though!

That post came at the end of a very, very long day at roughly 7am. this one comes at the beginning of my day without any coffee in me, and may be equally as confusing.

I was just trying to say in the OP, that I popped apart one of my vivi nova heads that wasn't working well at all. I made a wick out of cotton from a cotton towel, and bound the old coil onto it, and popped it right back into where it was, carefully spaced the little coils and so on.

Considering my experience in small electronic repair and PC repair has equated pretty well to being able to wind a wire around a wick and stick it somewhere, I am hoping to find a large, tank style RBA, but I'm having trouble. it seems to be very hard to differentiate in searches between a tank style RBA and a drip style RBA.

And, unrelated, I simply like big tanks, and am looking to also try a good cartotank, (a friend of mine swears by them) of which you linked a number of good suggestions, baditude!

That.... should be a more clear post.
