Hi Guys,

I reported the other day that my batt was doing the flashing+staying on thing.....I don't know if that was a prelude to this or not (my other newer KSD did it and is still working....*crosses fingers*)

But....it's dead. Last night, the light wouldn't come on so I thought, 'Oh, it's dead...better plug it in'. Plugged it in and it still didn't work plugged in....press the button, no light, no firing. I left it to charge and tried it after the red light turned off......still didn't work.

So yeah, I didn't heed the warnings not to use the 1.7ohm single coils......and perhaps that "shortened the life of my mosfet battery" as the warning went. Oh well, it's not like they're expensive....I liked those cartos enough I had to try.

The other one I have is only 1 week old....plus, the other one that is 6 weeks old still works (my buddy has it), the other two that are about 4 weeks old still work (other buddy)....so there's that.

Besides, it gives me the perfect excuse to order a Provari! :vapor: Boosh!

I want the new provari but can't justify the expense I will eithere grab an evo vv or wait for the new 3.5 amp lavatube. They won;t official admit that they are making one, but they are and it will come with two tubes one for 18350 and one for 18650 so I am waiting for it. Supposed to be a summer launch. Hopefully It will get cheap quick like the first one. I don't know why they didn't make it have a 3.5 amp switch to begin with. I guess they need provape to design and then R&D it themselves after. You know Recieve and Duplicate.

Hey KillFace, was the top threading part at all lose or a bit lopsided(mine came like that) on the batt that died? I had one that only lasted about 3-4 weeks:( I think the threading part wasn't properly set in the battery, IDK

Nope, it seems to be exactly the way it was and nothing changed....I was using it 10 minutes before it stopped working.

My buddy who is handy offered to take it apart, so I'll update if I find anything or get it working.
