I have 2-VV batteries, 12-650 mAh, 24-G6 78mm, 50 cartos, 40 minis, and 40 tanks. Lots of juice. 6 chargers for Tritons and 6 for the G6. I have bought some each pay check since early December. So I'm good...... LOL I didn't realize how much I had until I counted it. But I won't lose this battle again because of the weather.

Dayyyuuum Evie! So I guess you're 'locked and loaded' for the storm?!?!?!? We just got back from WM, and Aldis...if we don't get the snow, at least we'll have groceries!

12 650s and 24 G6s? LOL You clearly are very concerned about the upcoming zombie apocalypse:D

Of course, I live in earthquake country....guess I should be more prepared too LOL

When 168 tornadoes tore through the south I had 2 weeks without electricity. 5 months vaping journey went down the drain when my batteries died. So yes I'm ready for the upcoming zombie apocalyse. ;) I refuse to fail again after 5 months because of a dead battery.

Have you tried pulling the contact up a little tiny bit? Mine used to appear dead but it was just because the contact was "shmooshed" down and not making a connection. Just a thought....

Edited to add, just use a tiny little screwdriver or something similar to "coax" it up a tiny, tiny little bit.

It's a good thought, but the multimeter showed it dead, and even if the center post is depressed, the bat LED would still lite up.

Of course, prevent this by NEVER tightening anything Triton too tight. Snug plus a little. I could twist a tank another 1/4 rev, but I don't.

I never did that LOL But good point, anyway.

Evie Luv - two weeks without power? What a nightmare .....yes, that would sent me back to analogs I think!

Funny even if it is real bad and everything is shut down since I'm the closest to work, Me and a fellow employee will have to go in to reset everything. If he can drive with his 4 wheel drive truck, he will come get me. If not we will be driving 4-wheelers to get there. LOL I just hope we don't lose power. Should be worse tomorrow night though. But I'm ready. LOL

I think every outlet in the house is occupied right now. Just bought a ch!@#tload of Duracells for everything else! ;) I'm really hoping we don't get hit, but if it does, all my vaping supplies are at the ready. Good thing I just got some more vapemail...ejuice, so I'm ready to 'hunker down'

After the damage here and all the power lines that had to be fixed, they had to backtrack electricity to us from Tennesse for months but we were only out for 2 weeks. For an additional 2 weeks we had timed power outages mostly at night. We had alot of help from electrical crews and trucks from up North. So when the North got hit with Hurricane Sandy all our crews, trucks and alot of my friends went up North to help them rebuild.

So I figure if they can fix that nightmare to have only lost power for 2 weeks, that is the worst I have to prepare for......is 2 weeks.

Get an inverter to plug into your vehicle, it converts DC to AC and can be found @ wally world or rat shack... I have one with 3 outlets I use for work.

Evie, do you have either a 12v cig lighter adapter to USB to charge from a car, or a car with a USB?

I have a 12v car battery on a slow trickle/float charge in the basement. I'll have to get the above, just in case.

I've seen hand crank USB generators for cell phones, but too much work! Is there a generator you could put on a stationary exercise bike?

That is why I have 6 chargers for each system. I also have two 6 outlet power strips. I can charge 12 batteries at once. But I don't put both power strips on the same breaker line.

Diva y'all stay safe.

I have two built in usb ports and 3 adapters for usb so I can charge in my car yes but like before without electricity we didn't have gas pumps that worked either so we had to budget the gas in the car for emergencies. We are 40 miles from the nearest town with a hospital.

Goph, good if you need to power something needing AC. $22 for 400 watt continuous/800w peak at Harbor Freight. But 400 watts isn't much, less than 3.5 amps. I see people have these, then plug the laptop brick into it to charge a laptop! Very inefficient to go from DC to AC to DC. There are cords that go from 12v cig lighters directly to the laptop. (but not for Macs!).

I need this thingy. Halo has them, but available anywhere.

That's smart to put the strips on 2 different circuits. But...

The Halo Charger barely draws 0.02 amps. even at 0.03 amps, you could charge 500 batteries at once with 15 amp strips. The charger doesn't draw much at all.

In fact, my guitar amp only pulls 85 watts. I could plug 20 of them into one 15 amp circuit. Of course, solid state amps are mad efficient. My buddy's old Fender Twin Reverb is over 3 amps!!!

To compare, a desktop pc with an LED monitor and a laser printer will pull about 150 watts. A laptop? less than 40 watts.
