Kind of curious. I switched early on to APVs from the Egos. Therefore never reached any sort of lifespan. How long should they and do they last for most?
I have 2-VV batteries, 12-650 mAh, 24-G6 78mm, 50 cartos, 40 minis, and 40 tanks. Lots of juice. 6 chargers for Tritons and 6 for the G6. I have bought some each pay check since early December. So I'm good...... LOL I didn't realize how much I had until I counted it. But I won't lose this battle again because of the weather.
Sorry to jump in here without an invite but I was hoping to get some information regarding charging batteries during a prolonged power outage. I live up in the mountains, have frequent power outages and have found myslef snowed in for almost two weeks. (It makes one devlop a penchant for planning ahead). Over the years I have acquired a Honda inverter generator and have a nice set up that allows me to power the important things (satelitte Internet, laptop, pellet stove, tv and fridge and manage life by swapping things in and out to stay within the limits of the generator when I need to cook. I am planning on charging my Halo batteries by plugging them in along with the rest of the important stuff listed above...any special considerations or concerns I should be aware of....well, other than the fact that I am going to place an order for more Batteries tonight

You shouldn't have any problems charging your Halo batteries. The wall adapter accepts 100-240 VAC 50-60 Hz and outputs 5 VDC @ 500 mA. You can plug in one of your batteries to a usb port on your laptop, saves having to unplug something else from your generator.
If anybody has any dead or broken Triton batteries of any size, I will take them. I will even pay you some dollars if you wish. I have some DIY mod battery holder ideas, and need the (Triton) screw on battery connections!
