6v Altoids box mod

I made this the other day when i was really bored, and was surprised to discover that it actually works perfectly, i managed to do it without soldering anything as well, which makes maintenance a piece of cake. I'm also thinking of adding a juice feed as well, if i can just get a hold of one of those little pump bottles, because there's plenty of room inside.

I added a wooden drip tip this morning... and HOLY CRAP does this thing ever rip when I drip. Im using a six month old 4081 atty and it still blows me away

Wooden drip tip? I haven't seen those, you make it yourself?

that's right, i bought an oak dowel at a hardware store, cut off about an inch and a half, drilled the requisite holes and carved it into the shape of a mouthpiece with a pocket knife. it somehow seems to amplify the flavor as as well, not sure if its just my imagination though

Might be a little of both reality and your imagination... I'm no expert, but from comparing the guts of an atomizer with what I've been reading about the formation of vapor, there is a LOT more going on in there than most people think.

Doesn't the wood >over< your atty serve to insulate it? Heat build up? Bad for attys?
