Never had any problems with stackin bats other then un-even battery drain and battery life. Battery closest to the load always drains faster then the other one. I keep sets together also to even out end battery life. And swap their positions within the set also after each charge. Never had any blow up on me, and I've had plent of attys short out and switches go bad on junk mods. I always use either safe chemistry or protected bats.
I already bought 3 pair 2 days ago but was wondering can I use a LR 306 atty at 6v? probably not right? Are there any Regular Resistance 306 out there that I could use if indeed I cannot use a Lr 306 at 6v?
You definitely CANNOT use an LR atty at 6v. It will burn out the atty on first fire. You should use a 3ohm or higher. Some people use a standard resistance, but it's going to be really hot.
Thanks a lot mlinky I figured if I cant use a LR 510 at 6v why would I be able to use a LR 306. Now I have to go on the hunt for a 3ohm 306 or at least standard resistance 306 thanks a bunch mlinky.
I only use ikens HV for my grand but never tried his 306 as I am fairly new to the whole 306 thing but I really enjoy it at 3.7v so I am certain to enjoy it even more at 6v with a HV 306. Thanks for the help.
standard resistance attys are a tad bit hot at 6v, but the reo can do them without burning, gotta keep them wet. 3.0 ohm is the sweetspot I look for at 6 though, just perfect.
DIY mix, 50/50 pg/vg base 24mg nic 1%PGA. 60/40 Pg/vg base 36mg nic 1%VW. These 2 bases I keep mixed, with the addition of 1 drop or so of tobbaco extract depending if I'm just not getting the kick I need for the day. Tobacco type flavors I mix at 8%, fruit flavors I mix at 20%. Seafood or meat type flavors I mix at 0% now
Attys in rotation are cisco, iken, and smoktechs. 510s are left alone, 306s are dewicked but not debridged. Usually 3 days on an atty, then a soak in denture cleaner overnight then 3 runs in ultrasonic jewelry cleaner @ 5 mins a pop. Air dry, then dry burn till carbon is completely gone.
with these little batteries, what charger would you use?
I use a WF-188 for them...
