So , today I hit four local vape shops that I hadnt been to before. I doubt two of them will be in business very long, due to their poor customer service, lack of knowledge, and pretty bad juices. One shop had alot of product, very high prices, and very snobby employees. Also they had a sign that read "No refunds, No exchanges, No returns, No exceptions".

The last shop had a very friendly lady named Anna who was the owner, makes her own juices and knew alot about the stuff they had on display. This was the best one of the day. I was going to go back and grab some juice and a Evod, but instead I went to the shop two blocks from my house.

This is the shop I said I was getting bored of in a previous thread. These guys hooked me up today, and I doubt I will go anywhere else for my vaping needs. They just got some new mechs in yesterday.

Got the Chi You, a vivi mini, two batteries, and a charger for $74.30 out the door. They were asking $65 for the mod. I told them I wanted to stay under $75 with batteries and charger, and we came to an agreement. I know the tank and the charger arent the best, but Ill upgrade those in a couple of weeks.

Any word of advice for a new mech mod newbie? So far Im really diggin it.

Also, Matt I think his name is told me if I had any problems, to bring it in and they would help me out. Also told me to come in when I had time, and he would teach me how to build the coils and attys. Pretty cool.

Not bad given you grabbed this at a local shop. I assume the Chi-You is a clone, which is around $25-$30 from China. Those two batteries and charger are probably about $15 total online. So all in all ... that's really not too bad.

If and when you decide to get into rebuildables (and most mech users do) ... you probably want to ditch the ICR and get another IMR. You're next purchase should probably be another IMR and a better charger. Something like the IntelliCharger i4 can be found for under $20 and is a great all around charger.

Congrats and enjoy!

Yes its a clone. Can really tell in the pics, but my guy had taken a torch to it and "blued" it. Pretty cool looking. As for shopping online, Id rather not. Had a bad experience a few years ago with my cc#. Chi hits pretty good. One of the shops I went to had the same Chi clone for $100.

The Ctwist is now regulated to backup and will be used for work.

As far as rebuilding, I will get into that in a few weeks.
