This is my mile marker. The longest I ever went with out a cig was 8 months in the last 40 years ( that was when I was pregnant 23 years ago) Ive just hit the 8 month mark again. This is a big day and I couldn't be happier. I still have 3 packs of smokes in my freezer from new years when I said all or nothing. Thank you to all my friends on this forum and v4l for making it possible. I honestly don't think I could have done it with out you. I thank you, my kids thank you and my little grand baby thanks you....your the best

WTG! while we were doing some cleaning last month we found an unopened pack of our favorites (which has happened before) but these we found where we used to lock them up to keep DH's brother from stealing them... with them was a brand new lighter... i looked at him, he at me and with out a word he tossed the smokes and i tossed the lighter and we laughed so hard. it is most awesome to be free after all these years! little victories add up.
