801 Atties not working on Don

I have the SS Don and it has the combo 801/510 fitting and I cannot get 801 atties to work. Any advice would be really helpful because I just spent $40 on some 801 gear...

I'm not entirely familiar with 801 atties because ENS doesn't sell them, but I use 801 cartos on my don all the time. The center pin on the bottom of an 801 carto is adjustable, so when one doesn't fire, wiggling that pin back out a bit with a safety pin normally does the trick. Is the center pin on the bottom of your atomizer adjustable? If so, give that a shot. Maybe the positives on the atty & your don aren't close enough to connect.

When I purchase my SS Don I also picked up the

MAKO/MEGALODON 801 FITTING


I'm glad I did, because the combo fitting's center post is too short.
