801 atty separation --need advice

sattec, we can't be talking about the same thing. The ring that breaks loose is connected to the heating element by solder joints. So when the ring (collar?) comes loose, the next thing to happen is the solder joints break and there is no electrical connection between the battery(or USB PT) to the atomizer.

Did that make sense to you?:confused:

perfect sense, I apologize, all my 801 atty's have a removable ring and it actually helps the air flow when you remove it and doesn't goof up the pv....sorry...I'm on the wrong page...:)

I loved mine too when the ring fell off. But the BE112s beat the hell out of it once they get a proper breakin. Can't pull the ring off those. The one I'm using now is on its 3rd week and it just seems to get better as time goes on. Been using the same cart for two months. LOL
