801 Cartomizer burnt taste

I just got an 801 carto, I'm usually a dripper into a 510. I thought the carto that's holds 30 plus drops of liquid would be great for long drives.

Well I have filled this thing with 30 drops let it sit then vapid it, ugh burnt taste and burned my throat.

That was on a 3.7 device, I just revisited in at 5v, I blew out the old fluid and refilled it with 40 drops, same ....e!

Is it defective?

Possibly. Did you try putting them in boiling water for five minutes and letting them dry (to get out any primer)? There are certain brands of cartos I won't buy because I can't get the taste out of them even after cleaning them. The 801 cartomizers I got from MadVapes were usable right out of the package and the capacity is just ridiculous (in a good way!). Good luck!

I actually got it from madvapes. I think it's just a dud. I was watching some reviews about the carto and it seems that there may be an issue with the coil.
