Only at iVape.net - the HV801 - operates at a consistent five volts - charges at 8.2V and requires recharge at 6.5

This, to my knowledge, is the only High Voltage e-cigarette to hit the market.

Built like a standard 801 this uses industry breaking technology to operate at a constant 5V as a vaporizer, without having a giant battery tube in your pocket.

The kit includes:
2x HV 801 Atomizers
2x HV 801 batteries
1x HV 801 charger
5x Blank Cartridges
-------------------------
The Price: 44.95 - Only at iVape.net

Heres a pic:

Our units available are white, not black.

There are a limited number available in the first run... Get it while it's hot!
AND THESE SUCKERS BURN HOT! WHOOOO 5V

the high Voltage mod you've been searching for, at the standard e-cig size, and price.

Thank you for choosing iVape.net!

There is a 7.4 HV801 unit on the market right now that looks the same as this one that someone else is selling, I'm wondering if this is the same unit

it's possible that it's the same unit, however i didn't know anyone else had gotten their hands on these... if you could shoot me a pm that'd be great i can clarify or confirm...

normal working voltage is 6.5V-8.2V

charging voltage is 8.2V - manual states output voltage is consistent 5V

Do you have the 801 7.4 volt batteries individually?

These devices output 5V, they are charged at 8.2V, and they require recharge below 6.5V, they are not 7.4 volt batteries, i assume someone just took an average of the charging and discharged voltage. They are 5V batteries.

We have a few kits setback in case of defect until out next order, right now all we are stocking is the kit. Should the units do well, we'll stock parts and offer them too.

Thanks for your inquiry. :)

Something I don't understand with this Kit, first it was said to be 7.4 I think, now your saying it's a 5v battery but should be charged to 8.2v and requires a recharge at 6.5v This just doesn't make sense to me at all. I'm not saying it isn't true or its not a great kit, it looks very cool and interest me a lot, but 5v is 5v 6v is 6v and 7.4 is 7.4, 8.2 is 8.2 could it be that it is 5v but max charge rate when full is 8.2v even if so that sounds very high to me for a 5v Batt. Is it possible you could contact your manufacturer and find out some more specifics on how all this works for all of us who may be interested in this unit it would be nice to know in general as to how this unit really works

I don't know where you're getting the 7.4V number but here is my understanding.

This battery charges at 8.2V, when the battery voltage drops below 6.5 the battery cuts off, and no longer has any output. The battery will output 5V consistently when it has a charge anywhere between 6.5-8.2V, it's likely that this is regulated from a 8.2V battery.

So the best way i can try to explain is this.

there is a 8.2V lithium battery, (or two stacked lithium cells at 8.2V total) that is charged and the current is regulated to 5V within the battery, so you get a constant 5V to the atomizer.

It's like making any 5V device with a regulator work (ie. 2x 3.0V batteries at 6V, regulated to 5V) - all batteries lose voltage as they discharge, (i.e. 18650's performing at 4.1V, then dropping to a constant 3.7-.8, and trailing off at 3.5 towards the end of the discharge cycle.)

when this battery discharges to 6.5V, it's time to recharge.

At all times, until the battery itself hits a voltage of 6.5V and requires recharge, it will operate at 5V output... it's a HV 5Volt 801 device.

i hope that clears things up, please let me know if you have any more questions.

still wondering how long the batteries last :p

on a full charge today i used this e-cig today for about 4 hours out and about, it didn't require recharge until i got home, i was only vaping moderately, but i would say the battery life is about 1.4 hrs, 200 puffs give or take. Each battery is rated at 240mah - i think that for the performance they give, it must be some kind of high drain.

That tells me some things, it would be nice to know if they are stacked Batts just for safety reasons. I don't really consider 5v HV myself, not until I hit 6v do I consider it HV but 5v is a nice vape for sure. I guess the only thing I am not understanding is if the bat has an output of 5v why would it need a recharge at 6.5 if it was a single batt I dont think this would be true so it must be stacked Batt's and they have a max charge of 4.2 each I would say, and now its making some more sense to me thank you. Last question I think I have is what ohm Atty's are the ones that come with this Kit or that you sell for it.? I also apologize for the 7.4 that was the other advertised HV KIT that I had saw which I told you about in a earlier post
