801 to 801, does it exist?

I think the answer is no, so...anyone know how to make one? We'd want it sealed of course

The only thing I've found so far is an 801 to 801 extension but that sucker is 1" long

Not ideal, but you could do an 801/510 then a 510/801. Pretty sure that would be shorter than the standaLone 801 extender.

Just get a 510 to 801 and an 801 to 510 and screw them together or get an 801 to 808 and re-thread the 808 end to 801.

Mark, when you sealed your adapters with JB Weld, how did you do it? I don't know the consistency of it...is it thin enough to just squirt some into the center hole on the adapter?

It is a 2 part epoxy in small squeeze tubes, mix a little of each part together with a small nail. A panel nail, or a #2 or 4 finishing nail work.

Put a small piece of masking tape on the underside of the first adapter, the 801 side of the 801batt-510atty adapter, tape pushed flat over the positive terminal part.

Poke a hole in the center with the nail or a tack, so you see the opening running through the adapter

Put a little of the jb weld into the hole, I used the nail point to pick it up, the head to tamp it. It only takes a little to fill that tiny space, and it doesn't have to come our the other end.

Remove the masking tape and let it dry overnight.

It is actually quite fast to do, like 2 minutes including mixing the epoxy, just don't over do the masking tape.

Same reason I didn't Ms. Lady...brain freeze! Funny thing is, I have used double adapters in the past and still didn't think of it
