First, I love the draw on these! It's perfect on the Buzz, and little bit more airy on my 808 PV's, but still better than my other cartos, sold by the same company I bought the PV's from. I have some cartos that won't work on the Buzz without a 901 to 808 connector, but these are great with no adapter. (my Buzz has a native 808)

I also beleive there is an improvment in vapor production and flavor, TH being close to the same. They vape cooler than some of my other cartos.

Now, a question: How many ml's should one put in a new blank mega 808? I got almost 3ml into one, but that was a bit too much. Experimenting, I've put 2 ml in one, and 1.5ml in another, looking for just the right amount of juice to use. I can't count drops... LOL. I have these resting to give them time to wick. How long should I let them sit to absorb juice?

I think I pushed my first fill up, I got a slight plastic taste, but after it sat another hour, it was about perfect. I think I just found my standard cartos. I'm not a dripper, I don't want tanks... this seems just right for me. :thumb:

I fill mine with a needle and syringe and add juice until it begins to pool at the top. Let it sit for 15 minutes and get after it. If I put in too much juice it will begin to run out at the bottom. If I do that, I blow through it gently to get the excess out, let it sit a while and vape.

That's how I do it, others may have other opinions on filling them. I agree these are fine to use on the Buzz.

I love these cartos with my Buzz. I fill by putting in 20 drops, taryn spin, 20 more, taryn spin and topping with 10. Let it sit for about 30 minutes and good to go. Top off with about 8-10 drops while I am using it. These are hands down my favorite cartos.

So to ask a dopey question... how many ml's are 50 drops? Roughly? My eyes aren't all that great. It's easy enough to use the dropper that my juice comes in, but I really can't tell how many drops are going in there. I have an 18 blunt tip syringe, and I'd like to use that so I have some idea of how much I'm putting in, and know just how many ml's I ought to get into the syringe for a fill up.

I love them too, on my kr808d1. I've never seen so much vapor before, and they actually make my auto batteries fun to use. I had set them aside once I picked up some manuals, and just for kicks pulled them back out & stuck the mega on one - what a difference! No more primer puff needed. These are amazing!! Thanks for a great product!

Just got mine in the mail today (damn fast shipping for someplace that isn't opened on weekends), can't wait to vape them. I'm probably only going to use two at a time until they die so I get a really good idea how long they last when in heavy rotation; I'm trying really hard to calculate my actual expense over time.

I got in about 2.5 ml (50 drops) w/o a Taryn spin just ten drops and maybe 15 seconds pause between just holding at an angle and rolling it between my thumb and forefinger. I'm sure a lot depends on the viscosity of your juice (I'm 80/20 PG/VG so it may be thinner than someone using a lot of VG). And I'll be looking forward to using just once carto through my day with a little bit of dripping as needed to keep it lively.

I think 64 drops is about equal to 3 ml.

Thank you, that is what I was trying to get a handle on.

I don't mind letting them soak for a good long while. It seems about 1.5 ml's soaks em good. Then add another 0.5 to 1ml later, from what I am seeing, so I'm getting a handle on it now.

I tried 3ml but didn't do a taryn spin. It leaked. 2ml seemed fine. I've got 3 of them going and have been topping off.

I really was not expecting any improvement in vapor or flavor, but I am happy to say that I was wrong. On both counts. These really are as gfood as I had heard, even better.

No kidding, I'm blown away by the vapor production (no pun intended). I usually have to "stoke" my cartos (V4L) but with these one mouthful no stoke and I've got a huge cloud and the flavor is clean as hell with just the right TH. I was thinking of getting some of the LRs but I honestly can't think of any way to improve on this on a KR808.

60 drops on an original fill was a tad too much 55 was perfect. Then I refill 10-15 drops whenever I felt the need to.

I just recruited two new Ikenvape 808 mega customers. I only got them yesterday, but I had to tell these other folks about them.

See, there was a thread at a fantasy football site in the off topic forum, started a couple on months ago. I started reading about 5 or 6 weeks ago, and was blown away by how many people were able to quit analogs. That was how I got into vaping, and all of us were newbies, learning as we went along.

I have settled on what is perfect for me now. A Buzz and the 808 megas. I told these guys about it, and at least two are ordering the mega 808's. I could not be happier than I am with this combo. I spent some wasted money along the way, but only 3 weeks into vaping, I know I will never smoke again, and have no need whatsoever to buy anymore hardware, just mega 808's and juice.

These cartos fit everything I have with no adapters. V4L autos, manuals, PT's and the Buzz, with an Infinity on the way. I'm set. Thank you Isaac.

So, I'm one of the guys NoMatches is talking about but I haven't yet ordered (or maybe I'll be the third...).

What is the difference between the LR and the plain Mega? I have a V4L VaporKing XL manual set up and want to get the cartos that would work best. I don't see myself getting the Mods or the Buzz or anything like that.

Stevie, I think with the V4L 808's, you would be better off with the lower voltage megas. That is a lower resistance atty, which will mean more vapor, TH and flavor, but will reduce battery run times a little bit. Most mods would fry the LR megas if they were turned up too high voltage wise I think.

I REALLY like these cartos, they fit everything, my 808's, autos and manuals, my PT's, my Buzz and I don't have to top off nearly as often. The performance is as I said better than any other carto I ever tried.

Believe me, you will be very happy with these cartos, I don't plan on ever using anything else.

Nom I've been filling mine with 60 drops since day one and it's perfect. But I guess it depends on the size of the drops. I also refill with 45 but I've noticed when the 808 LR needs juice it won't hold 45 on refill and it's the same size tube. You will find your desired level of drops on filling them. You could always do it like Me and Isaac do it. Just fill it untill it's full and if you overfill squeeze your bottle, while holding it squeezed put the tip in your carto. Then release it and draw the excess back into your bottle. No mess or waste.
Wait until you see how long they last.

I am a no muss no fuss type, but so many people clean cartos, it has gotten me to wondering. How many times do you refill a mega 808 before cleaning? SnowDragon posted a new video in the V4L forum on cleaning cartos, seems easy.

I had a VERY bad experience with a burnt carto recently. I didn't realize it was dry, and I hit that sucker hard twice. I had a toxic waste burnt plastic taste that even seemed to be in my lungs for almost 24 hours. It was so bad, I actually thought I might quit vaping. Now, with the megas, I top off often, and the idea is to never ever repeat that experience. So, I'm never really vaping a carto dry anymore. I suppose I should start a log, tracking how many ml's I put in a mega, how many vapes I take, and start to get a real handle on how it all works.

So, since I am never actually emptying my cartos, it's hard to tell just how long they last.

I do know these things:

The chance of me vaping a carto dry like that again arer greatly reduced with the megas.

They outperform other cartos I've used, and it isn't even close.

I like that little tube in these cartos. I can drip or syringe juice into it without getting it down the air hole. Very nice when topping off. I waste less juice.

I can't even think of a negative. The extra length is minimal and not a drawback.

I use mine for about 4 days before cleaning, and usually clean them once. Then I toss 'em. I might try a 3rd round, but it seems that about the 8th day, they're pretty weak. I use high VG juice, and vape about 3.5-4ml a day.

I also fill them with a needle bottle. No muss, no fuss - and they're full in about 15 seconds. Top off usually 3-4 times a day.

I have no idea how some folks get *weeks* out of a cartomizer. They must be running light PG juice I guess. Or I'm doing something wrong. Probably the latter.

Yeah probably has a lot to do with PG/VG mix and I'll wager some flavors produce more gunk than others.
