Three years ago I don't think anybody would have attacked that post, just tried to help support another vaper get back up and running.

Exactly. So sad to see so much of that going on now. This used to be a place that we helped each other first. Asked questions later. No more.

Ironically, if the deeming regs come to pass, vaping will become more of a necessity than a fad once again and mutual support among those who need it may become the dominant theme here once again. It's already happening in some of the preparation/stockpiling threads!

For some reason I read the OP as saying that they were too lazy to charge their vape so they went back to smoking. I can see how some may have reacted to that incredulously.

ACK! I'd never go back to smoking. If I'd been smoking I'd update my counter.

It might be strange but that is no cause for the dripping sarcasm from other people. So the OP lost interest, I've seen where hundreds have lost interest before. This place is kind of getting ruder day by day. :nah:

@cookiebun I have a CoolFire iv plus that came with an iSub Apex. It is a glass tank. If you vape in higher ohms you can buy 2 ohm coils for it. Or if you want to get into subohm (if you don't already) you can get the coils for it too. Myvaporstore sells them and gives a very good description for the coils for a newbie to subohm (me:oops:).

I hope this helps you. :):)

Thanks.
Most of my current hardware won't handle anything but standard resistance. I just purchased some Aspire glass clearomizers from Myvaporstore. I could never get all the ohm stuff straight.

welcome back,, i am super new. and i 'get it' when you simply moved on to other things,, i got a similar response (not here) when i casually mentioned i turned off my radio in the car to hear my own thoughts (since 1995) it was just a test project challenge to see if you could hear yourself (think your own thoughts rather than being influenced by others: news, music or dj's/commercials).

anyway,, i am glad to be a new vapor,,so many options,, so much information available now! my patience would not have made it 'back in the day'.. i would have been a stat of those who failed to drop cigs

Meh, it wasn't as bad as many make it out to be. Back then the hard part was finding what worked for you and buying it when it was in stock!

Hi Kross, glad you are here and are enjoying vaping. I don't listen to the radio or watch any sort of broadcast tv either. My co-workers gasped when I did not know who the local university football coach was. o_O
i dont care much for tv,, i watch walking dead and i love football college and pro,, most of the time i dont care who wins.. its just modern day gladiators to me.. or physical game of chess :)

Welcome back, another possibility for a battery, to go along with the Nautilus Mini would be an istick 20 (there's a 30 watt version too).
Built in battery, about 20 hours use per charge, quite inexpensive. Comes in black, blue, silver and a red colour but it is actually closer to pink than red.(if you like pink) Cheers.

Ok, about 3 years ago my batt went dead and I couldn't be bothered to plug it back into the charger. I haven't vaped since. I've decided to pick it up again before the FDA wrecks the industry.
1) Is there a large capacity GLASS tank the works reliably with a 510 adapter.
2)Is there a 510 mod compatible with a large capacity glass tank that doesn't have a bewildering array of atomizer types? Keeping track of what atomizer will work with what hardware is why I started with an 808. I am not interested in a rebuildable system.
Thanks for any help.

Lots and Lots

For simplicity, Kanger is one that does a lot of complete product packaging and has maintained readily available replacement coils for their products.
Nice reasonably priced functional product line.

Welcome back! I hope you find something to replace your 808's. I still have some myself and still like Cartos but I like tanks and clearo's too. I did buy rebuildables I need to start getting the hang of with deeming regs hanging over us. I did get another Provari mini, so that is a good option for you perhaps too. Very reliable. Good luck!

I agree with the suggestion of a Provari and a Nautilus Mini. A nice set-up that will last you awhile and give you the MTL you had with the 808s. When I 1st started vaping in 2011 I almost went with the 808/901 and then there was the 510 battery cigalikes. I don't know why but I purchased the 510 kit and then quickly moved on to an Ego Kit that was complete with 2 batteries, 2 tube atomizers and plastic mouthpieces stuffed with polyfill. That is until the EGO T came out with it's syringe fed little tank mouthpiece. I quit smoking with the Egos and they hold a special place in my heart. I still have some old batteries that are working and hold a charge, but I moved on to bigger and better devices. Good for you that you could just put it down like that, I hope you find a new set-up that you can enjoy.
