Ok, so you guys got me addicted to vaping as a hobby. These days, I tinker with coils and wait for vape mail. One of my latest additions to the collection is my first carto-tank, a lovely 5ml hand blown borosilicate glass piece from vapor-mania.com. Before that, it was the iClear 16s (dual coil) that came with my iTaste v3. To my disappointment, no matter how much I adjust the voltage/wattage (according to safety chart), the damn 808 clearos deliver a MUCH fuller taste than the iClears OR the carto-tank (which deliver pretty much equal flavor). What up with that?
Should I trim the wicks on the iClears? Remove one of the coils? Is it OK to remove a coil from a DCC? They only read 2.2ohm as it is. Maybe I need higher resistance? I don't know, but I DO know my next step will be an RDA. In the meantime, how the hell am I getting all this flavor and vapor from the 808s and any tank I put on the iTaste tastes like I'm sucking flavor through a thick filter?
