8hr First Charge..? REALLY?

So, I got my EM-Riva today. I read through the manual and it says the first charge should be 8 hours...

Do I really need to charge for 8 hours on the first charge? Or can I just start to vape once it turns green?

It probably has about 40% charge right out of the box. The 8-hour thing is leftover from Nickel formulations. Charge until green.

Wow, that was SO infomative! Thanks Parallex2 for the link! When I got fed up with my InLife POS PV, I just let it sit on the charger for months. When I came back to it, bye bye battery. Now I know why. I should probably treat my phone a little different too!

I didn't even bother to charge mine until my second bat was fully charged. I'm not saying that it was right, but it felt like the thing to do!
