8ml/day? Am I doing something wrong?

I received my E Power 14650 yesterday, and didn't use it much as the liquid I got doesn't taste very good. My first time filling the 4.5ml carto that came with the device, I spilled a little on my shirt and had to drive an hour home while the few drops on my shirt destroyed my nose the whole way home. I was disgusted with it, so I didn't really use it. It's double mint flavor by DK.

This morning, I decided to give it a go, and it wasn't as bad. I'm sure spilling it and smelling the concentrate all the way home just made me sick of it, but over night it was fresh again. Even though I don't like the flavor really, all day today I couldn't put it down! I can vape at work, and at home as much as I want.

I topped it off this morning (it was dripping out the bottom, so I knew it was full). I just got home from a 10 hour shift (the battery had no problem lasting 10 hours, ripping it every 30 - 60 seconds or so). I swapped batteries, and dropped in some more liquid as it was looking a little dry, and was slightly tasting funny. It took 80 - 85 drops before it started dripping a little out the bottom!

80 drops is about 4 ml, right? I'm only half way through my day .. does this sound right? I take pretty quick and small drags, and had a few breaks here and there where i didn't use it for maybe 15 mins or so.

I'm thinking it might be this carto, it's a 1.5ohm dual coil. I have some single coil XL 1.7ohm carto's on the way. I'm hoping these conserve a little better.

All and all, I'm loving this device. Even with the horrible liquid, it's still better than a cig (taste wise). And for some weird reason, it's starting to have no taste, like i'm vaping an extremely watered down version of what it tasted like this morning. Not sure why .. I can't wait until I get my shipment. I ordered 10 or so 10ml bottles of various flavors from hoosier, their house made stuff.

Maybe your nice level is too low and that's why you feel like constantly puffing on it. What mg do you have? Usually 80-100 drops on a 4ml carto fills it. As far as the flavor goes, your taste buds are probably getting too used to the flavor. Try a different one for awhile and then go back to this one and it will probably taste strong again.

Oh and btw make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Vaping can dehydrate you and that can effect the way your juice tastes. I've also heard that rinsing your mouth with salt water to cleanse your palate works, but I've never tried it.

I vape a whole lot throughout the day as well, I go through about 8-10ml of juice each day but with no leaks. I've tried bumping up the nic but it was way too strong so I went back to my normal 12mg nic. It could be because you really love the flavor and chain vape it thoughout the day or possibly just vape a lot because you can do it indoors and in your car now. I certainly vape in places where I normally wouldn't smoke an analog.

I average 7ml/ 8ml on a normal day and sometime more just because a like the juice.
I certainly vape more than I was smoking and I on 12 mg nico.

Once you find a flavor you like, buy the biggest size they have. Don't feel bad about vaping a lot. It's still cheaper than analogs and you'll feel a lot better after a day of chain-vaping than a day of chain-smoking. And yeah, tons of water. Also, you poor little taste buds are going through a lot of transition right now. They'll level out. I had the same problem. I upped my water and things got better. Hang in there!

when i smoked it was two packs a day. now i vape in all the usual places meaning that aspect has not changed. i only go thru about
3ml a day. my nicotine level is 24mg. i guess my question is do you ever feel satisfied? if you dont then maybe you should up your nic level. just another comment - i'm in the middle of transitioning from dual coil carts to rebuildable atomizers. the RA's use up way more juice than the carts. of course the plumes of vapor are much larger too.

I used to smoke about a pack of reds a day. I'm currently using 16mg .. but I kind of like vaping constantly, the process is what I'm addicted to I think. I'm worried about bumping it up, as I don't want to get sick .. and I kind of don't want to not be able to chain vape .. if that makes sense haha.

I'm hoping I find a few flavors I like from this batch I ordered .. so then I can start buying larger amounts. 50ml for 14$ .. that would be 45/month, and I was spending 120/month with analogs. So it's still definitely cheaper!

I couldn't find any 510 rebuildable tank type carto's .. just eGo types. I am definitely interested though!

I go through (2) 5ml tanks per day most days. I usually use dc 1.5ohm carts. I haven't experimented with how much juice gets used with different ohmed carts to know how much that might change it though.

One thing to mention, shake your bottle before filling anything. There may be some separation with the flavor going to the top even though it isn't noticeable to the eye. If you are a new vaper, there will come a time when you hit flavor block. Happens to ALMOST everybody. Congrats on making the switch

I've been reading about this flavor block. Glad I'm not the only one! I have about 10 or so flavors on their way .. I can't wait! This double mint is becoming old .. really fast .. ahaha

I've noticed I am vaping my favorite fluid now as well. When I started a few weeks ago, my 1.6ml clearo could last me a good two days. After getting my inhale method down, I can easily go through the 1.6 clearo in about 4-6 hours. So I am not at the rate you are, but agree with others that, as you grow accustomed to your fluid, you'll go through it quickly. I started with a 10ml bottle of the mint menthol, quickly jumped to a 30ml, and after this week, I am gonna ask my shop if they sell it in bigger bottles!

Since I started using 36mg (from 12mg) I've gone from 5-6ml per day to 1-2ml per day. Your body will regulate you intake for you from my experience.
