I've got two ST 900mAh batteries, and I was curious about something when I'm charging them.

I'm using the USB charger, that I actually have plugged into the mouse port on my computer via an adaptor, because my two USB ports are already used by a wireless keyboard and mouse.

The batteries charge just fine, and last awhile, but for about 5 minutes before the light on the charger goes green, it blinks between red and green.

Is this normal? I've only used the mini-type batteries before, and they never blinked all crazily like this before they were done charging. I just want to make sure that my charger isn't have any issues, or that plugging it into the mouse port instead of an actual USB port is OK to do. I'm not really sure what voltage and current the mouse port can put out compared to the USB, and if that would be an issue.

The battery is screwed in plenty tight, so it's not a connection issue. I'm just a little paranoid as I really like my eGo and don't want to do something stupid like blow up a battery or ruin the charger.

Thanks in advance!

Okay, dug out the instructions I got with one of mine. It doesn't specificaly say it will blink back and forth, but does say "a steady green light indicates a full charge" (emphasis mine). Either way, mine have done it since I got them, either on a wall wart or PC USB port, and my batts are going strong after 4+ months, so I'd call it normal.
