901/808 adapter to 510

Hi,

I bought a 901/808 to 510 adapter. I realized that it was working on my v2cigs manual batteries without a problem. From the v2cigs automatic batteries i have, one is with pierced thread in the center where there is connection, and one without this hole. The one with a hole worked, the one without did not work, although it was lighting up, the 510 cart was not getting power. Do you know any reason for this? what can i do to make it work? Thanks.

V2 just came out with their own sealed automatic, and sounds like it doesn't like your adapter. You might want to check the V2 forums, and maybe try to contact customer service (my experience is you'll have better luck with their CS over the phone than by internet). You may also want to try a new/different adapter, or looking at whether the center post of the sealed battery is centered enough for contact with the adapter. I had one where the connection just wouldn't happen, and I ended up discarding the battery (not a V2), but if you just got it, definitely check about a replacement with V2, since the sealed battery is new with them and there may be one or two that aren't up to par in the first run.
